We’ve already told you a bit about who we are and what we do, but now the time has come to take a closer look at our world. How? We’ve decided to start a new feature “Did you know…?” in this newsletter, so you can learn more about what our company does.
As you know, at D.F. every stage of production is carried out in our workshop (if you’ve missed any of them, you can find them on our blog), so we can choose the quickest and most cost-effective solution for every project depending on quantities and deadlines.
We examine your project in detail to decide whether to start from a mould, if we should use a cutter or laser or if we need to combine several processes to obtain the best possible result in terms of quality and time.
Here’s an example: to produce temples from sheet metal, we can either use the laser, cutting with a mould we have made ourselves, or combine the two processes to obtain the best result, especially when there are unusual geometries and details.
Some temples have such an unusual shape we can’t cut them with a mould, so we opt for the laser; after they have been cut and tumbled, we have to define the edge or a special type of camber to finish them off and this can be done with a mould.
This explains why we have to combine several different processes to get the best possible result: by doing this, we optimise production and are able to solve any problems that may arise.
Carrying out every stage of the production process inhouse means time and cost savings for our customers because we handle every stage of your project from start to finish, from the initial cut to preparing the semi-finished product ready for galvanising.
