We often wonder how innovation comes about. There are no magic formulas, and there is no alternative to feeling raw passion for what you do, and sharing that passion with others.
Joining forces and ideas. Allowing ourselves to be inspired by the stories of others. Being curious. Taking in viewpoints other than our own. All are key to doing something new.
Taking part in Mido was all of these things and more. Keeping in touch over long distances might well be easy, but actually seeing people without the filter of telephones or PCs is a different matter.
We would like to thank everyone that came to see us to share their ideas, projects and passion, or even just to say hello. We are returning home with the firm conviction that innovation is the result of relations between people, and that none of us can be as strong as when we all work together!
“It’s been a wonderful experience. It was great seeing the customers again, and having the opportunity to catch up with people who work a long way away, and who we don’t often see in person for obvious reasons. The atmosphere at the fair makes everything different; it feels quite informal, almost festive, and it helps facilitate dialogue as well as fostering a lasting sensation that we are on the same wavelength. This kind of atmosphere also helps new acquaintanceships and collaborations get off to the right start: creating new relations face to face with the project in front of you and immediately exchanging ideas is altogether different, and always fosters creativity and innovation. Not to mention the fact that providing a team response allows each individual to showcase his or her skills and experience, and brings added value to the table.”
Valeria Marchetti, Executive Support Officer – D.F.
“We felt a great deal of enthusiasm, and people were clearly happy to be meeting up again. That means you get back to work with the right approach afterwards. Mido gave us the opportunity to welcome our clients as a team, in fact as a family, in an extremely positive climate. It was a great feeling, and one that has prompted new ideas.”
Paola Ciet, Production Manager – D.F.
“It’s been great seeing customers again, and sharing the satisfaction we all feel for the projects we’re working on together. Experiencing it all first-hand is really positive, and it creates enthusiasm.”
Sergio Franzoia, Technical Director – D.F.
“Putting a face to the names of people I only knew as part of a project has been really important, and the atmosphere was fun and very positive. Being at the fair gives you the chance to have an experience as a tight-knit team with your colleagues. And tackling more technical issues has allowed us to establish new relationships, with the feeling that we are all working together and helping one another.”
